Does anyone know of any twixtor style plugins for vegas?

It has become necessary for me to use 'smooth slow mo' in my films and I'd rather not have to move to Final Cut Pro and get the twixtor plugin if I can avoid it as I'm used to Vegas.

I've google searched but twixtor doesn't appear to be compatible with Vegas.

Thanks

I hate to state the obvious, but - if you're willing to work outside the 'Vegas box' - there are solutions for this using AVISynth and/or VirtualDub which work pretty well. Of course, this is a pre-process step before adding the results to your Vegas project, and you'll need to save to an intermediate. I still use CineForm for that.

Probably not the answer you wanted, and you do have to learn how AVISynth works, but it could be worth it.

Dip

Thanks dippytwitty, but both those links lead to wikipedia pages, and when I go to the virtualdub home page and install the program it just gives an error "corona.dll" not found. Please re-install the application". I tried reinstalling again and again, but just get the same error.

Is there anything else out there that works?

Thanks

I don't know what you're using for a camera, but I needed slow mo and purchased a GH1, which could be a different and not too high priced solution. It shoots 60 FPS so can be slowed down to 0.4 speed @ 24fps.
