Twin Effect. Green Screen/Masking Attempt [Retouched]

Hmm. you just need to pay more attention to detail.
Why is there a need for a mask in the first few seconds, that shot should just be split screen since no one crosses the middle.
Also in that situation, besides the jittery mask movement in the first few seconds, there is not enough feather or curve to the mask when she is sitting fully up, so her back gets cut in a perfectly straight line wich is not natural.
When you cut between shots like you did, you don't have to mask the whole project, just the shots that require it, this is where storyboarding saves you time during the shoot and in the end, you know the final edit before you sit down to edit.
Keep up the good work.

Haha good job, it looked better then the original.

yeah that's true, I'm sure you've learned your lesson so next time just shoot split screen and only use green screen for over laping shots.
btw, did you try using the rotobrush tool? it's pretty useful.
I shot this recently using the split screen effect & rotobrush tool.

Wow, ryvac that is great! It's pretty darn seemless Kudo's :p I've used the rotobrush once but I think It would've worked better if my subject was better lit? Yes I agree with you kevininottawa. Having a predetermined thought of how I should've done each shot would have done wonders. Thanks again for the feedback guys!

Frankersten, an other lesson to get from Ryvac's clip, playing back the first clip while you do the second one helps timing conversations and reactions.
In this case its a song playing, but works for other clone effects.

Thanks Kev! I will definitely keep that in mind in the near future when I do this effect for one of my short films.
