TV LCD or LCD monitor to edit HD

Hi!

I am waiting for new PowerMacs to upgrade from my iBook. I am wondering though what is better to monitor edit. I was thinking about the Dell 24" or a Samsung 32" TV LCD. The new Samsungs at 3000:1 contrast are incredible and have a much better image than any other LCD TV. The bad thing is they are 1366x768.

What do you think??
 
Unless you get a preview monitor as well, I think you will have reservations about the monitors resolution. Screen space is a sought after luxury when editing. Just try and get something with a bit more resolution for previewing, and you should be happy.
