Turning off Motion Blur in vegas 5?

I been using the velocity tool in vegas for a while now, I'm wonder if there is a way to turn off the motion blur when you increase/decrease the speed of a video clip. I been doing alot of a ramping effects with my clips, -speed up then slow down.

motion blur is expected when slowing down 24p footage but speeding up?!

Before I used vegas, I had adobe premiere 6 which had no motion blur of any kind.

The motion blur switch is on the track controls. Do a search in Help.
