Turkish Star Wars a.k.a. the man who saved the world

For those who don't know, The Man Who Saved the World is a film that is known as "Turkish Star Wars", simply because it had stolen clips right out of the movie "Star Wars: A New Hope". They also stole music from the movie, and music from indiana jones.

It actually has nothing to do with Star Wars, but is actually very campy and... well just fun to watch.

Here's the final 10 minutes of the film. All the explosions, the jumping, the chopping, the limbs and heads flying everywhere. Very fun.

Very wierd movie to say the least. I read about it. Seems to be about a bad guy who needs to penetrate the earth shield by stealing a human brain. Something to do with a golden brain and a golden lighting sword that was formed from a mountain, his friend falling to the dark side and having to kill him, and in his grief he forms golden gauntlets and boots, which give him the ability to jump very high and... well as you can see in the last ten minutes, punch through people and chop them in half...

Funny thing is though, that they made a second turkish star was recently. Not even sure if it's even out yet. This time though they're using their own special effects and nothing from star wars.

There are many Turkish adaptations, including Superman, ET, Wizard of Oz, but I think those are actually stealing the idea and doing their own... very bad... version. ET looks like... a guy in a costume...

Anyone ever seen any of these? Heard of Turkish Star Wars?

Me and my friend found a copy and are going to watch it just for fun.
