Tungsten Light Repair Place in the Bay Area?

My Arri 650 is experiencing an issue where it would not turned on unless the wire is held in a certain position. Can anyone recommend a place in the Bay Area that I can take it to get fixed? Thanks!

The only real issue I could see with this repair is getting the light apart. If I remember correctly, it's assembled with rivets. But if you can get access to where the wire enters the housing from the inside, it's not difficult to cut out the problematic part of the wire and hook it back up.

I thought that! No need to go to a specialist video lighting firm - it's a very simple repair for any electrician (although if you take the casting apart, all the bits fall out - but it's easy to do. In fact, electrically, it's rather basic - nothing whatsoever clever!

Maybe the best thing would be to show the instrument to a good local repair shop and ask for an evaluation as to whether they can fix it or, if not, where to take it. Shipping alone would most likely be more expensive that the actual repair and it would be good to find a local resource.
