At least I think it was the late '70s. I believe it was made for TV.
There was this creepy teenager who I think killed someone and he was hiding out in his mother's house. She was helping him elude the police for years.
He wasn't hiding in the basement or crawlspace, it was more like a hidden maze behind the walls and I think the secret entrance was in the pantry. His mother finally dies and the house is sold to a new family with him still in it.
He starts peeping in on the young daughters though tiny holes and at one point he goes outside (or he's seen through an outside window). An old lady neighbor sees him and remembers in horror the whole community looking for him, has a heart attack and falls dead.
That's all I can remember. The kid was white with dark bushy hair and I think he wore glasses. Kinda creepy-nerdy.
Anyone know this flick?
