No need to delete since it was a quote from a post by the OP, but for some reason it added your name to it.You could mount a camera inside a piece of PVC pipe, and then place that PVC tubing on top of some skateboard trucks, the trucks could simply be mounted on a 2x4, mounted to a tripod.
It would be like the wheel of a car sitting on a dyno. Just make sure the centre of the lens is in the centre of the pipe.
That is, if you didn't want to do it in post, and didn't want to have to mount a tripod at 90 degree angle, lol.
