Trying to get my actor to do ADR better?

One of my actresses didn't do as well on the some parts of her ADR. Basically during a suspense scene she gets dragged and thrown around the room, but can't quite get the screams and gasps right. She gets dragged by her hair, and this has been the hardest one for her. I don't want to have to drag her by the hair to get her in the same mood, as on set, but do you people have any suggestions? She did great on all her other ADR, but cannot get her in the mood for this one. Thanks.

For some people, ADR is extremely difficult. I agree with Allan, find someone else to record those parts. It should be in your actresses contract that you have the right to do that. It's not uncommon.

You say "I don't want to put her in that situation"... But at the other hand you want. Tell her to imagine she's getting hit, attacked, slammed...pushed, thrown away...etc... teas her a bit... pushing from left to right... So she get's the "idea" how it is.... Let her imagine the situation.
