I am working on a new 10 minute short. All shorts have to revolve around "light". So our story is this... Since it takes 8 minutes for light to reach the earth from the sun we wouldnt be in darkness for 8 minutes after the sun burnt out. So our story takes place in a mental institution with a charecter who is going through the last 8 minutes of light. The whole movie is basically a long escape scene in a mental institution. My ideas were to keep all the inside shots dark and make it a cold color temperature. Also keep every shot real tight to give a claustrophobic appeal to them. And for all the outside shots have it a warm color temperature and as bright as possible before being over exposed. Let me know if you have any recomendations!
