Trying to capture using AVID Express Pro HD 5.22

Just got my HVX, wow, really nice, but of course no P2 card, and I am trying to capture video, but having some difficulties, anyone done this?
 
OK, we have been shooting our feature film and decided to just take the safe road and go to tape, however we are experimenting with the hvx and live capture, a P2 card exchange method, P2 card to external harddrive direct, harddrives that give optimal performance (like a LACIE external), etc. and will post our findings. This is a great camera, there are a number of myths on this discussion board that we hope to prove right or wrong.
