True progressive lense for dvx ?

Got a Professional Videographer in Singapore that use XL2, insisted that only xl2 shoot in true progressive lense, does dvx have progressive lense. Sound like nonsense to me, as i only came across progressive mode and did not realised there is such thing as progressive lense. any comments ?

agreed. I think this videographer just got smoke by the sale man. The sale man just convince him that xl2 got progressive lense.

All lenses are progressive. Besides a progressive lens wouldn't do the XL2 any good since it doesn't have a progressive sensor.

Now the XL2 is one of the few prosumer cameras that you can buy a fully manual lens for. And its 16x manual is a thing of beauty.

The XL2 has progressive CCDs. The XL H1 doesn't.

Whoops I'm going to call a mulligan on the XL2 CCD comments. I forgot they switched to a progressive ccd on the XL2.

Anyway

1) I would call all lenses progressive because they create a complete image, not alternating fields of light. Something that would be really trippy to see if they could make one.
