Trouble with rendering

I rendered my film to an MPEG and tried to burn it to DVD. I get a stutter/audio/video problem whenever footage fades out with music, or whenever I have white lettering superimposed against a black screen. I've applied conservative broadcast colors, but I still get the problem. The question I have is this... will this problem be resolved if I use DVD Architect to make the DVD? I've been simply rendering it to an MPEG NTSC and I can't solve the problem. Also, it's on a 23.97 timeline, filmed in 24p Advanced, and the MPEG setting is for 29.97... could this be an issue?

Thanks.

Try outputting as 24p with pulldown using the DVD Architect template and buring with DVDA, as suggested by your questions.

Thanks. I'm rendering it, and hopefully this will resolve the problem. By the way, it takes about 25 hours to render this film. Is this normal? It runs 01:22:00, and it has some heavy filters, with lots of audio.

If you've got a lot of filters . . . ESPECIALLY Magic Bullet . . . you're looking at serious render time.

For experimental purposes, maybe you should just render a 2- to 5-minute segment . . .

Yeah. The last time I rendered this it took 30 hours only to find that there were problems with RGB and/or audio causing difficulty with the playback. I added conservative broadcast colors before rendering and it still screwed up. Do you know if it could be an audio issue? The reason I ask is because the segments that had no sound or lower sound didn't have problems.

Thanks for the information.
