Trouble with DVD Architect

o now i m using dvda3, images better than dvda2, V6 renders slower than 5, I just push the "fit to disc" and 26G of avi fits into a single dvd, which renders about 31/2 hrs for 2hrs of dvd, images nice.
A question, if change from good to best, would that increase the render time significately? like how much more? and would the image be significately better? or not noticeable?
Lastly, if I unplug my net and exit all AV programs or programs in the system-tray, would my computer render much faster? or not noticeable? yeah... i m on my 6th dvd.... curious about all these.... ;D

Yes. Disable everything running in the background.

Going to "Best" will do nothing for you other than adding render time. Don't bother.
