Hi guys,
So i shot some footage on a jvc HD camera. I transferred the files to my PC and they are .mov files. Now i know AE loves .mov files as ive used them before in tutorials, but for some reason when i try to import these .mov files it gives me an error msg saying the files are either unsupported or corrupted.
The files play perfectly through VLC and i also have a macbook which has a trail version of AE installed on it and the same .mov files work perfectly there. I also tried to convert the files on my PC through AVS video converter. That also gave me a error message saying ACM codec is not installed codec name : _____ <<< there is no codec name.
I tried googling ACM codec and installed a bunch of packages but still the files dont work with after effects. Also tried importing the file through premier first but they also wouldnt work with premier.
Can anyone help me please???
