trouble installing finalcut4

I´ve installed fcp4 on my imac G5 and when I´m trying to open it it says "configuration error" : this software requires certain hardware or software wich is missing AGP graphics card

Yeah, the old iMacs don't have video cards of the capability FCP needs to run. Go back over all the hardware requirements for FCP, not just CPU, but graphics cards. I bet the one in your iMac falls outside of those specs.

I'm not certain what video card you have in that machine. But if it is up to spec, trash all the FCP files (search for remove FCP on Apple's support site) and reinstall it. What version of the OS are you running? If you're in OS X, FCP4 may glitch up, as it won't run with the most current versions of QuickTime and the Video/Audio Core elements.
 
My OS is 10.4.2 and installed ati radeon x600 graphics card !!! do you know if its possible to upgrade my graphic card?
