Trouble getting started.

I can have a good time but hey, you don't know me and let's just say I look a little out of character. Maybe I can do a pony tail thing with a basball hat.
I'll see if bro can bring down his cam and maybe I'll do a shot.

In the meantime, how about a blooper where I wipe out big time trying to direct an actor how I want it done?

//...for a dvxshort, I'm NOT a director, apparently.

//Forget it, I'm going to bed.

Nick, what are you on...

Boxes selling snow cones?

I am on DVXUser.com, you know that! On a more serious note, I don't have to do drugs to be completely ****ing random. I can do improv all day, in fact many of my theatre friends say I am in a constant state of improv and that I might be certifiably insane. You would think they would enjoy the oportunity to practice their craft, right? Well they don't.

I want to see it! I would post the clip of me having a breakdown on the set of my non-completed TimeFest entry but the camera operator panned away and stopped the recording right as I started. What had happened was we didn't ppractice our lines before hand, we just looked at the script and then went. That would be fine, but because I had never delivered the lines before, it took me a few takes to get into character. I got frustrated when I wasn't doing as good as I could have and started jumping up and down subsequently falling on the ground all the while trying not to shoot someone with the airsoft gun I was holding in my hand.

Man, I was visualizing along and I laughed. I think that's the one.
Funny stuff and simple story. So, now that it's posted, you have the copyright, right? So, I'm going to take a shot at it.

If you actually want to develop the story further, send a PM and well go from there.
Otherewise, thanks man.
I'll keep in touch and let you know how it goes.
:cheesy:

When the day comes that you feel like doing a longer project, I have a story called 'The Boy Who Lost Christmas' that needs to be done as an animation. I'd love to see that one brought to life. Fair warning though -- it's a distinctly Christian story.

Good luck!

Thanks Chapel. I'd be interested for sure. It'll be awhile before I get to that point but if it's still available whenever that happens I'd like to have a look at it.

How about the last acorn on the tree and two squirrels are trying to outdo each other for it, a bit like a chinese 70's flick, really corny stuff, the flipped side is that while they are kung fooing (is that a word) each other something else takes the acorn.

haha, that's pretty good. The only thing about the squirrels and the acorn is I think Scrat the squirrel from Blue Sky Studios has the market covered on that one IMO.

I've decided to go with ZaZa's idea and work on that, so should be fun.

-Thanks man.

You mean the one that ran into the door frame?

And yeah, I guess nick did take my sig to a whole new level.

...

Yeah. But it looks a lot worse than it really was. It's actually a visual deception.

When I hit the door, there was no prob. I then pushed myself off and that's when I slipped on the ice. I don't know where the bang came from, maybe there was a gap in the wooden door area that gave that sound, but it's not from me getting hurt.

The vid looks bad, but honestly, it was a push-off followed by a foot slip and nothing more.

Now, if I was pro enough to pull this stuff off on demand...hey...paycheck?

//hehe, oh yeah, we put down a pile of dirt in the doorway after that so our actor wouldn't slip. :)

//Jeez, I watched that again and you can't tell, it happens so fast. But, I don't know if anyones going to believe me now, trust me, it's just the way it was shot. One in a million.

//lol, if you watch it in a loop about 30 times or more, you'll see the push off. My hand is hidden by my body so that's why you don't notice it. But take out the sound, then you can see it better.
Well...that was fun.

//Ahhh, I slipped right before I pushed off, so that's why I went flying. I thought it was after.
My work is done here. :)

Well thats good you didn't get hurt. It looked like it was terrible impact. Humorous, yet terrible. :)

It is amazing how many times door frames take you out. Wether you are trying to push off or just walking through it.

I run into doors more often than is recommended. I guess my depth perception sucks. I've also smashed into door frames while operating cameras as well. Me and doors do not coexist well. Let's just put it that way.

I've had my fair share of running into door frames, counters, you name it. I think it is the impatient American in me that wants to get around that corner just a split seccond faster than is possible without jamming your side into something.

Nice fall, by the way, looked fantastic. "No, I don't think he's okay..."
