Trouble exporting to tape? Any way to fix it?

I'm trying to export my 7 minute short onto DV Tape via my Canon XL1s Camera. I've had no trouble exporting to tape in the past since I recently upgraded to Cs2. Everthing seems normal and it says it's recorded to tape but when I look back at the footage all it is is a blue screen, rather than the film.

Would you have any idea how to fix this?

When it's exporting to tape, can you see the film being played on the LCD screen of your camera?

No, it just comes up with the blue screen. So I'm guessing it's something to do with the settings on premiere?

Could be. Or it could be a bad firewire port on either the computer or the camera. Or (rarely) a bad cable. But yeah, your signal is definitely not getting out to the camera.
