Trouble exporting clips

I am currently using the Panasonic HMC150 and Adobe Premiere 4.1 for my NLE. After exporting video, I found that during certain clips the video skips. The video just jumps back and forth to individual frames within the clip, but only on that certain part of video. I have already tried re-rendering the project, as well as deleting and reinserting the clips, and even though it appears to play fine in Premiere, the export still glitches. Does anyone know the solution to this problem? I am not sure if the problem is from the setting, codec, AVCHD, Premiere, or Adobe Encoder.

dude... sorry man I don't know what this can be. Hopefully you found a solution. let us know, I will try to help you if you still have the issue.

I tried to google the solution, but I haven't get any good answer yet, the only thing i know is that perhaps the AVCHD is not a very good format to edit natively. If anyone have questions or solution to this problem, please let me know.

thanks

I may be able to help you out but I need more details.

Can you provide as many details as you can about your video like:
Frame size,
Frame Rate,
progressive or interlaced,
What camera was it shot on and what format,
what are your sequence settings in Premiere,
etc... etc... etc...

and just to give you a heads up, using Premiere to edit AVCHD is a nightmare unless it was captured instead of dragged and dropped in.

Sony vegas would be the way to go to edit AVCHD native footage. At least in my experiences.

and not the new Vegas 9, but the Vegas 8.

Also provide details about the system that you are editing in.

The more details you provide, the better it will be to assist you.

and by the way you may also want to try a search on Adobe.com\support\forums\Premiere and do a search for it inside the forum.

I'm having this same problem (i think), except I'm still using cs3, and I am shooting with the hpx 170. I shoot snowboarding so I usually flim
720P/24P
operation type : film cam
frame rate :48 frame

The problem occurs when I take a 48 frame shot and speed it up to real time on a 24p sequence. Everything plays clearly in premiere, but when I export it there appears to be a frame overlap.

Here is an example

http://vimeo.com/5498231

the shot at 40 seconds has been sped up to real time, and in premiere it appears to play fine, but once exported, it becomes very hard to tell what's going on.
I think this is the same thing you are talking about. Thanks in advanced for all your help.

sorry for double posting, but I figured it out, I just had to right click the clips and turn frame blend off. I don't know if this is your problem. But I was wondering if there was a way to turn this off other than clip by clip

try to group all the clips, make the change and see if they all change, and then un-group them.

to group them select all the clips that you want to make the changes to, and then select "clip" \ "group"

To select one or more clips in a group of clips, Alt‑click (Windows) or Option-click (Mac OS) a single clip in a group. Shift+Alt‑click (Windows) or Shift+Option-click (Mac OS) to select additional clips in a group.

let me know if that did work for you

Does anyone know the solution to this problem?
Dont edit native AVCHD is the only solution.

Its a known issue with native AVCHD in Pr CS4 and in Vegas and i would not be surprised if it is present in EDIUS as well. The issue seems to be trigged when there is a lot of motion in the clips and seems to be easier to get with 720p50/720p60 footage.

The only solution is to transcode the footage to an intermediate codec and edit that footage instead of the native footage. By doing this you will discover three things:
1. No more jumps in the footage
2. Much smoother editing experience
3. Faster renders
