Does anyone know the best way to edit together squeezed and letterboxed footage? I need to cut them together in an older version of Premiere (I think it's 7.0 or something to that effect).

1)You can edit in a widescreen project, and increase the scale of your letterbox footage to match your widescreen footage.
2)Edit in a 4x3 timeline and decrease the scale of your widescreen footage until it matches your letterbox footage.
It all depends on your final delivery...if it's DVD, I would go with option 1. For tape, to be viewed 4x3, I'd go option 2.
