trouble after upgrading from FCP 5 to 6

hey everyone, i'm having an odd problem here.

a few days ago i upgraded from FCP 5 to FCP 6, and now, whenever i export DVX100 footage it comes out with tweeter lines.

the oddest thing is that i didn't recapture any footage - i changed the titles in one project file. that's all that's changed (plus the new FCP 6, of course)

i never had this problem with FCP 5, in fact, i copied all the settings i had used in FCP 5.

am i missing something? has anyone else dealt with this issue?

i'm posting this here because i was unable to find any helpful info anywhere.

by the way,

i'm trying to export the footage as Quicktime movie, uncompressed 8bit ntsc, 48khz.


... i feel this might be a settings issue i'm not aware of.

Here is a tip hope it help you guy.
1- If you had FCP v.5 and it work. After you had updated to FCP v.6, then it gave you problem. The problem is New version won't work with the old effect tool on FCP v.5. Change back to v.5 then it should work perfectly and do not update because you have to buy new effect for that version.

2- Motion will cause you a lot of delay and effect when render in FCP with movie clips. If you want to make any word or pictures effects you should try After Effect work faster and much easier. (It has more tool to control too.) If you want to create effected texts, the simplest way is Livetype. Very simple and work very very well.

3. I'm a wedding videography and this has cause me a month of delaying project.

is there a way to revert my 6.4 project file back to 5.0?
