tripods

Has anyone used the Panasonic AGY30 tripod?

[Noel Evans]

I searched for it on google and nothing came up, but the AG-YUT30 did. Assume this is the one, and if so I would keep looking. You want to find something with a fluid head and if you have a restricted budget then second hand could be the way to go.

This tripod is supposed to have a fluid head - are there different types of fluid heads? What should I look for?
Thanks,

That tripod is basically a Libec with Panasonic's name on it. For about the same money you can get a Bogen that will be much better.
