Tripods.....Which one?

Hey there,

i will be investing in a much higher end tripod downt he road. BUT.....I am doing a lower end shoot in a few months and want to know what is the best Tripod and Head Combo for $250 bucks or less. I know it won't get me much, but Like I said, I will be investing in a much higher end tripod downt he road in the $900 to $1,100 dollar range.

What can $250 get me now?

Edit - - What can $250 get me now?, Sorry man that is why you should read the whole post. I don't know if you can get a tripod for under 250. You would have to look around. I would call Able, or EVs and see what they have and just go with what they would think is bes.
I would n't waist my money and would just borrow or rent and take my 250 twords the Focus


The Cartoni Focus this has been a way over discussed issue if you do a search you'll find a ton of threads talking about this. If you go into the article section at the top of page Jarred did a kick ass article on this

Before the cartoni focus article it was all, 503, 503. So I got a 503.

Now its all focus focus.

You don't say what size camera will be mounted. The best under $250 tripod I know of is the Libec TH-M20. This same tripod is also known as Bescor TH-650, Hiewa 650 (in Japan) and Panasonic AG-YUT30.

Any one of these tripods is good to have around and fit's into your budget until you can affort something like a Libec LZ-70 or LZ-85.
 
I hate you kenny. I have a fiance. I get one chance at these things :(

I have a 503. I keep a 503. No cartoni for moi :/
