Tripod vs. Dvmultirig support hand-held

I feel more creative without a tripod actually. And with all these great support systems out there, I wonder if any of you guys and professionals shoot majority hand held with support?

I just got the dvmultirig and was wondering if that can be a tripod alternative for the most part. It seems like you get pretty stable and still shots, if you don't need any movement then you just stand there... so it's like *you* are the tripod.

I have a DVrig, and while it is very stable.....it can not replace a tripod........esp when you are zoomed in a lot. You just have to decide what is right for the situation.

I have the DVMultiRig and I find that it works really well in just about every shooting situation. Moving, stationary... you name it. I love this thing.
