Tripod toss up

Hi guys,

I am the proud papa of a new 100a , I have been reading this forum regularly and have been trying to make an intelligent decision on a tripod..I was all set to purchase the 503/ 525 and then i got to take a look at the Sachtler DV 1 or something...which looked extermly solid and felt great...now I feel like maybe the Sachtler DV4 would be a good choice...my application is for DVfilm and have only used junk in the past...I really need some sound advice..thanks in advance!

you get the tripod AND the raincover! You need to request the RC-14..

The Kata RC is usually $79.

There's a tripod made just for the DVX, has anyone used it?

Looks like it's just a private label version of the 525/503 combo.
