I didn't find an equipment forum so I'm posting this here.
It's a stupid debate, but I want know if it's bad to store my tripod in its soft case with the levers locked down and the head in the neutral position. I have a libec H70 head.
I try to store it with everything on the head loose and unlocked, but sometimes (especially if I'm not the person stowing it away) it will be stored with everything locked down. For any reason, is it bad to do this? Wearing down the calipers, perhaps?
What do you guys do?
