Tripod Sistems For The Hvx200

[jabour]

Hey guys what is the best TRIPOD for HVX200??

[Barry_Green]

Best will require a price point to answer. There are $20 tripods down at Walgreens, and $20,000 tripods.

Studio Monthly magazine just did a review on tripods, a bunch in the $1,000 to $6,000 range or so. Based on that review and a few other user reports, I picked up a Cartoni Focus system for use with the HVX, at ~$1400 or so.

I also picked up the Cartoni Focus and couldn't be happier. I think there was a sticky on them somewhere, but the review Barry notes is another good resource.

I bought a Cartoni yesterday. There's a LIGHT in the level bubble! Can you believe it?

What legs did you guys get with the Cartoni Focus? I notice there are a couple of leg models listed on the BHPhoto site:

Wasn't the initial question about which tripod and not which head ????
