Tripod leg augmentation

I retrofitted my tripod with some homemade leg clamps to keep the legs from possibly collapsing under the weight of my camera crane. I made them from plumbers hose clamps and some tweaked rubber hose.

It looks a little ghetto, but I haven't found any equivalent stuff to purchase, and they were very cheap.
