Tripod? Is this good?

K, guys I'm looking for a decent tripod, the $100 range just isn't working for me anymore.

More specifically I want to know if this tripod will handle a jib arm, like the cobra crane, or the skycrane jr.

Anybody know if this will work with a crane? or am I going to need to go even more expensive?

Just looking for suggestions.

Forget about anything with a 75mm bowl, most of those aren't rated for over 15 pounds.

Anything that can handle jib arms and is worth while as a tripod as well will run around 1500 on the low end.

However, if you want just something for the jib, Los Mandy makes a heavy duty tripod (no fluid head, just sticks) for their jib and it's only around 500. Look at portajib.com
I use it all the time and it'll hold a ton of weight.
