I have a Bogen 501 and would like to know if there are any tricks to make it a tiny bit smoother. I haven't cleaned it since I bought it, other than dusting it and tightening bolts and nuts - I've never opened it up.
Can I simply spray some Tri-Flo in there and get some alright results? That might not be ideal. I'd like to eventually upgrade to some better sticks and a smoother head but till then can I make the 501 better, even a little?
