Tripod and head... Is this any good?

At my company we have some extra tripods around, and I'm trying to talk them into selling me one. I can probably buy it for about 25$ and I'm just wondering if its worth it.

The legs are bogen 3033s and the head is a bogen 3047.

The 3047 is a 3 way pan head, not a fluid head, but recieves very high marks in user ratings.

I guess my question is wether or not this is worth the 25$ for both.

If you can get it for 25 by all means go for it, and you can wait and save up for a fluid head at a later date. All the bogen heads and legs, as far as I am aware are interchangable. So in my opinion go for it.

Bogen products are excellent. You can always sell on dvxuser.com or e-bay and make a profit if as you upgrade.
