If you want to get some fresh eyes and different people to review your screenplay (or short film) check out triggerstreet.com.

It is free and sponsored by Budweiser.

I have two of mine there ("Freedom" and "Atlantis Rising") and have gotten extremely constructive comments.

I wouldn't exacty say that it's constructive critic's. If you show something on this forum if it suck's you'll get constuctive (light it using this or edit it with more ... etc.) on triggerstreet it's a free for all bash fest (your film sucked ass) I haven't read anything to date where any winners of triggerstreet have been signed to a feature film by a studio as is let on by Spacy ( " a site that will give unoticed filmmakers a place to be recognized by the industry") however the last time I looked the winner got a dvx.

I spent about 45 minutes on Triggerstreet, gave up and went back to Zoetrope. :)

Let's not even talk about Helium, shall we?

Interesting takes. I'll have to give an opposing side to this. I've enjoyed my experience with TS. You'll always get bad apples, wherever you go to network or workshop, it's just part of the world wide web. However, it's having the patience to sift through the turds and find those compassionate and dedicated reviewers who spend hours upon hours supporting filmmakers and screenwriters. They DO exist, I have the reviews to prove it.

And, when you get a strong one, and you utilize the feedback it can significantly improve your project. It's all how you digest the information you are handed. You can either get pissed and run away, or stay patient and learn from the experience. There have been times when I've done both, but I know for a fact I have improved some of my material due to some awesome folks over there willing to help me improve.

That's just me of course. Take care.
