Trick for extreme close ups

In a fit of insomnia which plaugues me. I think i figured out a way to makethe MOD of a macroZoom even closer. if you stop to F16, and flood the hell out of your subject with light the depth of field increases by enough that you can get 5 inches from the lens. and still be in focus. Mind you, it seemed to work best at like zoom 70. at zoom 99 it only helped a little.

most of you probably know this, i just felt proud to have figured out a solution for a problem. lol.

More light equals smaller iris equals more D.O.F.( not only just for Macro)
