Hi all, Next month I'll be traveling off the grid to do some video/photography work. I have very limited space as pretty much all my camera gear and clothes need to fit in one bag that I can carry on to the various planes we'll be on. Here's the very basics of what I'll be bringing... Canon 5Dmkii, 6D, 70-200 2.8, 24-70 2.8, and 50mm 1.8, Zoom H1 and Rode VideoMic Pro. As much as I'd love to bring my manfrotto sticks, the size and weight keep that from happening. So I'll bring my Sirui T005. It has a decent ball head, but I'm trying to find a fluid head that isn't too big that might help me get some more dynamic shots. My Manfrotto 701HDV is too large/heavy for the job. I tried it out with my 70-200 and though it could work, it just overpowers the tripod a little bit much and makes it a little too top heavy. So, do you know of another small fluid head that might be more useful? Any other tools yo can recommend to ad some nice movement to the shots? As much as I'd love to bring a slider/steadicam, the size keeps me from bringing them. Also, I will need some source of power in case my many batteries give out. I'd also like a backup solution for my cards without having to lug a laptop. Any ideas on this stuff? Thanks!
