Travel Show Budgeting

I'm working on a pilot for a unique travel show... my God there are so many questions, but I will start with this main one. My partner and I are working out how much we are going to need to secure in sponsors and building up our budget for a typical show. I'm wondering if i am forgetting things on my list, and was wondering if anyone else knew of some fees that I forgot. Here is my list so far:

Plane Fare
Rental Car
Hotel
Meals
Fees for activities highlighted in show
Insurance
Filming
Scriptwriting
Talent
Editing
Camera
Batteries
Lights
Mics
Cases
SD Cards (We plan to shoot on HMC150's)
Loaded Editing Laptop + peripherals, firewire drives
Tape transfer fee for delivery of HD tape to station

Help, my brain is melting! Can anyone think of any other expenses? Oh, and I did not list music because we plan to get music for free from unsigned bands who want exposure.

Thanks!

Grinner man, love your website, the Moddin Art show, and especially... Beatle Bob. That was awesome.

So 30k per episode... are you getting sponsors to pay you that money and then buying the air time on a network? If so, is there a technique to getting the sponsors, and do they pay a certain amount per commercial? Like $2000?

Or- does a network have a deal in place with you where they pay $30K an episode and then they take care of the sponsors?

Thanks,
Ted

if you sell your own sponsorships, you can buy time... skipping the middle man so to speak. This is not the norm. It is for entry level shows and infomecials but most networks want ownership and they'll do the sponsor-selling.
The deal is all in the deal made. I recomend getting an agent to take the project on. Selling myself has proven to be more expensive than 10 percent.

10 Percent ain't too bad. I read of agents from other board members on here that take 50%. Still, you are right, it is all in the deal made....
