Travel lighting kit (or, rental recommendations in Colorado Springs)

I have a possible shoot lined up for Colorado Springs sometime in October that will likely require a small lighting kit. I was thinking I'd rent something (and if anyone has rental house suggestions, or is willing to rent kit, please let me know) but I'm toying with the idea of investing in a small lighting kit that is travel-friendly (for flying).

Given the following parameters—mains power is okay, around $1500 or less—what are some lighting kits that you all like to travel with? Smaller and lighter is preferable and I don't need a ton of output since I'm generally shooting on an FX6 and A7S3, but I'm open to all suggestions.

The current job is a very basic indoor shoot (think corporate-style, fixed camera), if that helps.

Thanks!

FWIW, LensRentals (and others) ship to FedExs and UPSs (if you don't buy any kits). Pick-up and drop-off (labels included).

That's what I have done for years...the elimination of the hassle of traveling with everything and very reasonable prices for good gear makes it so much easier.

I've gotten a lot of air-mileage (and land-mileage) out of a single Astra 6x with a softbox and a pair of 'on camera' lights like Lupo Smartpanels (almost as much punch as my old Lowel 250W Pro-Lights) or Luxli Viola/Cellos (RGBWW).

Also used Intellytech LC-120's and LC-160's... the newer version is far better with a unified control/power unit as opposed to the earlier split box arrangement with wiring spaghetti. They're both available in 2-light hard-case kits perfect for flight, with the only downside being that you can't shoehorn a single other thing into their case arrangement.

Litepanels also sells a hard-case 2- or 3-light kit complete with stands, but the kits are horrendously expensive and the stands are a bit poo.

I was thinking of LensRentals (or similar) but the last time I looked into renting a Sky Panel the shipping was insane. But I'll check again.

And I'd forgotten about those Intellytechs! That's an intriguing option, and super useful just generally as well.

Thanks for the suggestions!
