I am traveling to malaysia to do some shooting and do not have travel cases. I am only familiar with Pelican as a manufacturer but perhaps there are other names that some of you know or like better.
I will need to take my camera, a 5 mic mixer, a marantz tape deck and possibly a mini DV/VHS combo unit (about the same size as a VCR) then of course cables galore. I may carryon the camera just so that I have it available to shoot some of the trip getting there. But i will still need to have the ability to pack it in a hard case.
any ideas? or shoudl i just call pelican and be done with it.
