Does anyone have any recommendations for a hard shell case for lighting stands/small tripods/backdrop stands? I'll need to check this on airlines. It doesn't need to me padded. I'm just looking for something light weight and strong enough to survive baggage handlers. Thank you everyone!!

A lot of people use hard golf travel cases and report it works very well.

Great idea! Does anyone have any golf travel case recommendations
I use to carry stands in a golfbag, but it was a 'soft' kind, and was somewhat of a pain. The hard shell golfcase would be better. I'd also recommend for items that can
'fit' a Pelican Case.
The other issue with 'travel' and 'camera equipment', is the issue of going over the baggage limit. These days, it's pretty limited. If you can pack your underwear in your
carryon, you can use the 'baggage' for your equipment.
After a few bad experiences, I decided local renting for big equipment was better than carrying everything from 'home'... just required testing
before use to verify it was 'just like my own'...
