Transitions marked out on Master Seq

I combined a few sequences for a master sequence. When I put a transition between to of the original sequences the transition shows up (and plays correctly), but has vertical lines through it as if to indicate something is wrong with the transition. Does anyone know what this is?

Thx!

Try trimming the end of the first sequence and the beginning of the second, then apply your transition. The lines should go away.

Premiere needs the extra frames for the transition, in the case of two sequences, there are no more frames so Premiere will duplicate frames. I'm not at Premiere right now so I can't test my theory, but it's worth a shot.

Yay!

Yay!

You know what... I usually use the option to have handles on a clip, so I never run into that problem, but I had to manually record (no batch capture or scene capture) b/c pp2.0 is acting weird. So, it never crossed my mind that was the problem. Thx!
