Transition - Problem

I am using Premiere Pro 2.0 and I am having this problem since a long time.

I have my two clips in two separate video tracks in the time line. This separation happens at the cutting edge of these two clips.
For an example imagine that clip1 is in video track 1 and clip2 is in video track two beginning at the ending edge of the clip1.

Is there a way that I can apply a transition to these two clips at the cutting edge without taking them back to the same track?

Pls give me ur suggestions...

why cant u take them to the same track???

u might be able to do a transition on the end of one and the begining of one..just take down the time and see what happens.

I would take it 2 the same track and do it there, also if u want a hint.. what u can do is cut enough for the transition and leave that small bit on track one but have the rest of the video continuing on track 2.

Do mean that there's no precise method to select two video tracks at once in Premiere Pro 2.0.

if you want to do a transition between clips in different video tracks, you need to add the transition to the top clip then overlap that transition over the bottom clip.
