transition flaw

i have automatic widescreen bars from the upload because i shot it anamorphic and when i add a flash transitiion it appears over the whole image including the bars. does anyone know how to fix this?
 
Make sure the transition is the same aspect ratio as the rest (Right-click and check the properties. You may want to play with the Maintain aspect ration checkbox, too.)
