Transferring Files Form SD Cards to Hard Drives

Surely what I want must be really commonly needed and yet my Google searches are proving fruitless. Maybe I'm using the wrong search terms.

This is what I want:

- A Windows program that will copy MP4, MOV and AVCHD files from memory cards. Other formats would be good too.
- Quick to use. Once setup I should only have to make a couple of clicks to start a set of transfers.
- Copy from multiple sources in one operation.
- Automatically rename files by date, and/or put them in dated folders.
- Automatically copy to 2 locations (separate hard drives).
- Automatically verify copied files.
- (optional) Delete original files after verification.

I have a mixture of cameras and hate using different software for each one along with the various file naming and other quirks they each have.

I'm contemplating writing my own program; it's not that hard a job, but why reinvent the wheel when surely there are already programs that do this.

Sony Catalyst Browse is the free version of Catalyst Prepare.

I recommend the full version of Prepare, but Browse will do what you want here for free.

Thanks for the replies. For some reason I didn't get a notification that there were any replies even though I'm subscribed to the thread.

Hedge is the only one of these programs I had already found, but it doesn't seem to offer any renaming options as far as I can see. However, it's the simplest of the programs suggested here. I'm not finding Catalyst Browse at all intuitive.

I'll try Shotput Pro over the next few days, but I'm not keen on the license, which only allows it to be installed on one machine at a time. I would want it on my main computer and laptop. Of course, I'd only use one at a time.
