We're searching for software capable of reading SMPTE timecode on one channel of an mp3 recording. We often record video interviews which require transcription. Typically we will record a stereo mp3 featuring the interview content on one channel. We will feed timecode from the video camera to the other channel of the mp3. Is software available capable of reading and translating that timecode information on the mp3? Or, am I compelled to purchase a separate TC reader? If so, any suggestions?
