Transcoding in Compresor or Adobe Encore?

Hi Guys I have a question.

I prepared my movie in FCP and now i have problem. I don't know which app use to transcoding my material and burn Blu ray disc. What is better? Transcode this in Compresor ant then imprt into Encore build menu and burn, or do everything in encore? If I import transcoded material in compresor to encore, does encore transcode it one more time or will it leave my movie with no transcoding? And one more thing? Which codec is better? Mpeg2 or H264?
 
File compressed in another program that Encore can be "non-compliant" to Encore and it would re-transcode it anyway. But from what I've experienced, AME is one of the worst encoder (pixels/blocky artifacts in compression) so I'd try to compress using Compressor instead and see how Encore deals with the video stream.
Also, for Bluray (compared to DVD) you have the choice of using something else than Mpeg2 compression: and h.264 is and perform way better than Mpeg2 (Quality vs compression/file size) so I'd definitively use h.264 for the final render.
