train tracks

not sure where to post this.. but I have a scene that I would like to shoot on the train tracks.. I need to follow a person down them.. Also would like tohave a long bit of footage of the winding tracks
I do have permission to be on the tracks

Has anyone here any ideas on how to shoot this smooth.. wiothout buying 1000 feet PVC pipe? mabe DIY railcar or something?

If they are tracks that are in use, you are tresspassing, and you are about 10 seconds away from staring in a War Amps PSA. Who is your permission from?
And you would be better off using the tracks rather then putting pvc dolly inside them. If you can, make a standard skate board dolly that fits the tracks.
