trailer for tv news

Hi i am searching for trailers that advertise tv news, it think every tvstation that shows news, have something like this once once in a while. I hope i can make myself understandable. I dont mean openers for newsshows, but advertisements for newsshows, where they advertise how, good, informative,... their newsshow is. "the xxx top news everyday at 8 pm.!" something along those lines.

Anybody know where i can find somthing like that on the web? I am asking because, i will have to look for material they will use for the trailer at the tv station i am working at, and i wanted to get myself informed a bit.

why on earth would you want to use those ads as reference? they are all terrible, self serving, driveling poop. Stiff fake smiles, bad lines, overtly flashy colours and zero credibility.

I honestly don't understand how the stations think those ads actually work. they make me not want to watch the news they are so fake and crappy.

start with a blank slate and make something new and interesting is my tip.

I made a joke intro on a show I was working on a while back that was like that and someone actually thought it was a REAL SHOW! that's how bad they are. people can't tell what's real and what's fake.

I work in TV in Philly, I will have to disagree with you Morten. When I am on the street, people know our theme song, know what kind of vans we drive, know our reporters, etc...Its stuff like those promos that are drilled into people's heads on a daily basis that keep people watching and makes us the number 1 station in the market.
 
thanks for the link, as for making a different kind of trailer: i just search for material, i dont cut the trailer. So no innovation here sorry :)
