Trailer for ANONYMOUS released - first feature shot on ALEXA - Your thoughts?

Hmm. Not content with destroying the future Emerich starts on history.

Anyhow, wasn't Disney's about-to-be-released "Prom" shot on the Alexa? I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure.

The 720p version looked pretty awesome. Certainly the way of the future. Can't wait to see what Scorcese does with the Alexa in 3D with HUGO CABERET.

Yeah, I'm not sure about the content, but I was talking more about the imagery. Looks pretty impressive.

I figured as much but I couldn't resist saying something. The trailer does give some impressive visuals and I'm excited to see it, though I wonder how much of the Alexa footage will be obscured by CGI. But it is still a movie I suppose, not an Alexa showcase:)

Bob Richardson is arguably the best American cinematographer working today (along with Elswit, Pfister, and others). He blows me away, and I can't wait... can't wait for Hugo. My biggest anticipated film this year.

Totally agree with you Ryan. It's been a long time since I've been so excited to see a film purely from a cinematography POV. Never thought I'd see the day when Scorcese abandoned film!

In the meantime I'll have to check out Anonymous.
