Does anybody know of a shop or store that allows trade-ins? I have the original DVX100 but am considering an upgrade to the 100B. I am not ready for the HVX yet.
Adorama does trade in, be aware though that that they won't give you a cent more than they have too. Before you sent in your camera call them first and get a minimum price that they're willing to pay for your particular model, because once they got your camera they'll quote you a much lower price unless you called first. I'm guessing Adorama will quote you something like $1500 for your DVX (yea, it's that low since they quoted $2000 for my FX1). Overall I wouldn't recommend trading in your camera at all unless you couldn't find an outside buyer.
