Track Motion

Sorry all..new to FCP...
Is there a way to set an entire track to be scaled down to, say 25%? I have several clips at several different times that will need to be inserted in a project that need to go in different parts of the screen. I know how to use the motion tab to scale an individual clip, but it would be nice if there is a way to just have a track that is specifically for 25% in the lower left corner or 50 % in the upper half of the screen.

In order to achieve this, you can copy the attributes of one clip of the track you want and then paste the attributes of it onto the other clips on the same track. Let me know if this make sense. It's a relatively simple process

Yes, that does make sense. I just did not know if you could apply that across an entire track so you would not have to apply it to each track individually. Thanks for the help

You can set all your clips inside a first sequence (named seq 1). Then, create a new sequence (named Seq 2)
drag the Seq 1 inside the Seq 2 (it will be treated just like a single clip) then you can apply that 25% scale straight to the Seq 1. Voila!

You can also create a favorite of your basic motion, highlight the track you want and drag and drop the favorite. Hope that makes senses.
