Track Motion Problem- Help!

I recently got Vegas and was editing some footage where I had to move and crop a [chroma keyed] muzzel flash. So, I used event pan/crop to move and crop it. For some reason this is making the footage act like a motion track. Any idea how to stop it? Like a motion lock I can turn on that will prevent this?​

You probably set a keyframe and now Vegas is interpolating between your original position and your new point.

You need to set a keyframe at the last position (before you make your move) where the crop is good and make it identical to the keyframe before it (probably the first?) -- insert that keyframe and copy/paste the good keyframe's info into it.
